About

Hi, I’m Sue and for many years I’ve been searching for what my life’s mission is.

I’ve always been a believer in thinking that I can do anything that I set my mind to, which has had me pondering on being a policewoman, a lawyer, a social worker and a teacher, just to name a few professions that have crossed my mind over the years.

I love people and I’m fascinated by how we choose differing careers.  When I was accepted into university to study HR in my late thirties I was so excited that I thought briefly about doing medicine instead.  The fact that I faint when I get a paper cut only briefly deterred me.

But this thinking has always meant I was looking for something external to myself.  Until recently.

I have always been a glass half full, positive and happy person.  I am naturally optimistic, and generally expect good outcomes, learning lessons and steering to correct if ever the result is less than optimal.  But I think I took this for granted, not fully realising that the whole world doesn’t think like me.

I’ve now realised that through the medium of social media I can share some of my thinking and research on how to live a happier life through small changes every day.  Letting go of habits that don’t help you to feel uplifted.  Finding gratitude for everyday occurrences.  Appreciating nature, breathing in fresh air, creating social relationships that feed your soul.

You don’t have to feel happy 100% of the time, but I hope that by you stopping here I can help you raise the bar on your base level of happiness.
